Honey Rose to play a doctor in 1 by Two

Actress Honey Rose of Trivandrum Lodge fame is making her moves carefully in Mollywood. After the Mammootty-starrer, Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus, the actress has bagged yet another dream project. She will be seen in a prominent role in Arun Kumar Aravind’s next film, 1 by Two. Touted to be a psychological thriller, the movie will see her playing a doctor. “I was looking forward to a good script, and when Arun approached me with the film, I felt that there is a lot of scope for performance. I play a doctor in 1 by Two and will be paired opposite Murali Gopy. I’m more than happy to associate with the team,” says the actress.
The movie will see an ensemble cast with ace director Shyamaprasad making his acting debut. It also stars Faahadh Faasil, Best Actor fame Shruti Ramakrishnan, Ashwin Mathew and Tamil actor Azhakar Perumal among others. 1 by Two will be scripted by Jayamohan. Honey, who is enjoying her stint in her second innings, says she wants to do meaningful cinema. “I have decided to take up projects that will give me scope for performance. That said, I did cameos in Buddy and Anju Sundarikal. But they were worth doing despite the limited screen space. Then came Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus and now 1 by Two. I’m happy to be a part of good cinema,” she says.
